Great midtown salon!

What a great experience! I had no idea where to get my haircut being new in the city. I read great reviews of this place and was so happy to see they came true! I was helped right away and soon after brought to a very friendly, knowledgeable stylist. She gave me some great tips on products to use and gave me a fabulous haircut that would help make my curly hair stand out (I usually straigten). She also listened to what I wanted and didn't get scissor happy. I bought a recommended product and was helped at the register by a very friendly staff member. The price was SO reasonable for a shampoo, cut and diffuse. No complaints! Will definitly go back for my hair and to check out their other services.

Best Wax Experience (sort of an oxymoron)

Have tried several places to get my waxing done but the only places that proved to be good were way too expensive. At work people were mentioning this place for threading for eyebrows so I gave em a shot. Place was really busy and alive, music, people drinking wine sort of looked like a mini party, lol. They took care of me for brows and bikini wax and were really professional and pain free. For eyebrows, defnitely ask for threading, but for body wax, make sure they use the chocolate wax, its far less painful. Hard to say a bad thing about this place, they took me on time, did the service, and the price is extremely reasonable considering its the city. Keep up the good work!

Belazza is an amazing salon that offers all the services a city chick needs to look good and feel good. I have tried to find a salon that can do my nails and color in one day, so I dont have to make two trips to one place or seperate place. Found this place by simply looking at different listing on citysearch. I read teh reviews and checked the website both reassured me. To make an already long story short, the highlights were exactly the color I wanted and the manicure pedicure are CLEAN and great. This place scores a home run with service and definitely take advantage of their wine bar.
Pros: Nails and Hair Services are amazing, and free wine!
Cons: WHy didnt I know sooner about this place

Impressive Nail Care Service

A girlfriend recommended this salon to me a while back but I never got around to coming here. Finally tried them out last week and really had a good time and got an excellent manicure/pedicure. I didnt get any fancy package, just got the basic one. They have a normal amount of nail polish to choose from, but I really enjoyed the decor and equipment they used for my services. The pedicure chairs are new and give a nice massage but most importantly I could tell that they clean their tools. The combination of all this plus the free wine that I enjoyed, makes this place excellent.
Pros: Massaging Pedicure Chairs, Clean Tools
Cons: Accept credit cards but you cant add a tip on the card

I was here over the weekend and had a really good experience. Booked for a massage and cut, was my first time so I wasnt sure on who to go with, etc. The front desk was really helpful with describing the different techniques of stylists, they really make you feel at ease. Hair cut was great, but the massage was to die for! The massage guy's name is Johnny and has hands that are magical. He really makes you feel relaxed and peaceful. This salon or should I say spa is a class act that is on top of their game. Would highly recommend this place.

Spa Party

I set up a spa party at this place. Found it online and booked on Saturday with 3 of my girlfriends. Spoke to Mark and he set everything up for me. Was really nice and offered all different types of packages. We were just looking for mani/pedi and take advantage of their bar lol. All nail services are on the mezzanine level which drying stations have a view of the street, which is entertaining. I was really happy with the service, they pay attention and are careful when coating the polish. Great atmosphere, serve really good wine and the staff is nice. Finally a place in New York that knows nails and does not charge a $100 for a mani/pedi.

Bumble and Bumble and Kerastase, a dream?

Finally found a place in NYC that carries my fav two hair lines. The masquintense by Kerastase is the only deep conditioner that actually helps and the B and B gentle shampoo and super rich conditioner are superb. I can't believe that in NYC it is hard to find a place that carries these lines and have normal pricing for it. Plus, the guys at the front desk actually know the products they sell, which also hard to find. Definitely check this place out for retail, dont know about their other services, because I didnt get any done.
Pros: Staff knows hair care products, carry great lines
Cons: Only one location

Came here labor day weekend to relax after finding out my travel plans were canceled. So I booked a 90 minute deep tissue massage. It was the best massage I have ever gotten! A massage therapist named Johnny really worked on me so I completely relaxed and felt like a brand new person after I got off the massage table. The place looks loud, but they do the massage therapy downstairs which is really quiet and relaxing, plus the prices are normal. Great place!

I have been looking for a new salon for the past several weeks, my usual place closed down and are not relocating. Looked on spa-nyc and citysearch, asked friends for recommendations and finally stumbled onto this place. Booked an appointment after speaking to the guy on the phone and asking a bunch of questions. Came here during the day to get a roots touch up and a highlight. The stylist was nice and really helpful during the consultation, gave me several options which my old stylist never did. The color came out really nice and natural looking. After the color the stylist recommended products from Bumble and Bumble which actually really make a difference. Thanks guys!

My regular guy was on vacation for Labor Day weekend, so I decided to try a new place, read the reviews and made an appointment. Place looks nice and was busy with a lot of people which I like, hate going into empty salons and everyone is watching you get your hair cut. Didnt have a recommendation on who to go to, so just went with who the guy on the phone put me with. The stylist was professional, nice and talented. Hair cut wasnt quick and didnt take an hour. I am happy with my cut and the place. It is more expensive than my guy, but the place is worth it in my opinion.
Pros: Good atmosphere, good customer service
Cons: Slightly more expensive than my old place

My New Highlighting Place

I passed by this place many times and finally made an appointment for a highlight and haircut. I have naturally dark hair and have had a difficult time getting a stylist to make the color not so drastic where it is obvious that I have highlights, I like the more subtle look. Been to several salons, even ones that are insanely expensive and never really was happy. But this place really understands color! The stylist sat down, discussed different types of color, really explained his opinion and asked mine. Bottom line this place is professional, not pushy, serve wine, prices are good for what the place offers. Great place if needs highlights and good guidance on what color options there are.
Pros: Understand highlights and good wine
Cons: No tipping on the card

Great french manicure and brow threading

Came here on my lunch break to get a french manicure. The front desk quickly took care of me, brought me upstairs and had a nail tech take care of me asap. I was automatically offered something to drink which was really nice especially considering the prices here aren't crazy. Also ended up getting my brows threaded which came out nice and even. This place has a nice staff and a beautiful looking space. Belazza is my new nail place!

I got my girlfriend a gift card from this salon. She ended up getting a french manicure/predicure plus an hour swedish massage, she loved all of the serives. The place LOOKS like you are going to spend a fortune but the prices are fair. The service was great, not some stuck up front desk person, the guy arranged for me to have flowers waiting for her in the massage room and gave her free wine. Great place to impress someone.

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THE SAME STYLIST FOR OVER A DECASE ALL READY ( AT LEAST THATS HOW IT FELT), UNTIL A FRIEND HAD RECOMENDED THIS PLACE. After a visit to this salon i happy to announce that my hair found a new home. My stylist a wonderful women Iliana asked me questions, consulted with me and offered her opinion as a professional. After she finished her job, i was amazed and i loved what she did with my hair. I loved the color and the cut very much. As i had observed this salon i understood that people working at this place love to do thier job. I am recommending this salon to all of my friends.

Excellent Massage Therapy

Found out about this place online on spa-nyc and went here last week and got an excellent deep tissue massage. I've been to a lot of places for massage and this place is great and prices are FAIR! The rooms are quiet and peaceful and the massage therapist was great, he asked me what were my goals for the massage and worked on my muscle, really felt relaxed afterwards. Good, clean, professional place.

A coworker was talking this place up at my office so I decided to give them a shot. Had their date package, combination of mani pedi and blowout. They took me on time, did not rush with the nails as opposed to other places I've been to. Have nice massaging chairs and a fair amount of nail polish to choose from. Absolutely loved the blowout that I got, I have really thin hair so its difficult to have someone blowdry in a way where it looks like there is a lot of volume. The stylist really did an excellent job. Great place, would recommend it.

Have been looking for a new salon after my old place closed down, found this place online and am absolutely amazed with my highlights and cut. The stylist consulted with me, explained what he was planning to do, which never happened in my old salon. Plus they carry Aveda which i love. Great place that knows color and cutting.
